Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl

Packed with four portions of fruit and vegetables, this green goddess smoothie will have you well on your way to getting in seven to ten portions of fruits and vegetables a day.  Its fibre rich so drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and promote good digestive health.

The flax and chia seeds provide healthy fats including essential omega 3 fatty acids.

This is also a great immune boosting smoothie due to the high vitamin C and antioxidant content.

Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

1 Banana

1 Carrot

1 Apple

1 Kiwi Fruit

Handful of Spinach

1 tbsp Ground Flaxseed

½ Cup Water (or enough to blend)

Fresh or Frozen Berries

1 tbsp mixed seeds; chia, sunflower etc

Method

  1. Blend the fruit, water and flax seed and serve
  2. Top with blueberries and raspberries, chia seeds and sunflower seeds
